Occasionally I come across a photo that I'd like to fork into two

there any easy way to do that? I mean, I can do it easily enough, but
F-Spot will only show one of them and there's no obvious indicator
that multiple versions exist.
I second that fork function. The first thought that came to my mind was
just to tag the photo in the version table to be displayed as a separat
photo. But I dont think it allways would be a good solution since tags
might be missguiding when you for example crop out people of a photo (I
tag my photos with who's on them).
