Hi,
I'm wondering if there was any movement on this idea that started in
2005 (for the thread archive see [1]). Short synopsis: adding the
ability to edit license metadata information in the photos including the
choice of applying a Creative Commons license.
There is currently an open bug [2] which has some basic relevant
information to complete this.
Also, there is a tool developed by Creative Commons which is referenced
in that bug called liblicense[3] that would provide some of the proposed
functionality.
Is there still interest in getting something like this in F-Spot?
All the best,
Greg
Note: I work for Creative Commons in a non-Software Development role.
