writing an import extension

Hi folks,

 

I would like to write an import extension for F-Spot to make it can fetch whole Picasa webalbums. I had a look at http://f-spot.org/Extend_F-Spot but I couldn’t find something about import extensions. Is there any way to write an import extensions or can extensions only be written for exports and services so far?
