Re: Tester needed

Ok, first, here's my setup:
- thinkpad x61t, running Ubuntu 8.04, compiz enabled, lcd is 1024x768
- external monitor is Samsung 215TW, 1680x1050
- my desktop is extended so the external monitor lies above my lcd
screen, so the desktop area is 1680x1818

here's what I see:
- fullscreen does not work when the f-spot window is mostly/entirely
on the external monitor (acts like it is working with the
semi-transparent toolbar, but shows no image)
- fullscreen does work when the f-spot window is mostly/entirely on my
laptop screen, though the image shows up on the external monitor
- fullscreen works in both situations if I comment line 41 of
FullScreenView.cs (//SetDefaultSize(bounds.Width, bounds.Height);)

other issues w/ dual screen:
- f-spot window cannot be dragged from upper screen to lower (in a
vertically stacked setup) (
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=529783 )
- regardless of what screen the f-spot window is located, fullscreen
always shows images on the same screen
- slideshow is extremely messy looking (button-bar is not transparent,
doesn't always show completely, other gui elements appear (from
f-spot's main window), screen flickers when transitioning, etc...
(upon further inspection, this occurs in single-screen mode as well...
perhaps it's just compiz problems)

hope that helps!
