Is it possible to export, e.g., to picasweb, when running KDE. Even if I
start gnome-keyring-daemon from terminal, which gives this output,
GNOME_KEYRING_SOCKET=/tmp/keyring-4t80MS/socket
GNOME_KEYRING_PID=6386
I get a message in f-spot 0.3.3 (started after gnome keyring in same
terminal) saying the gnome keyring daemon is not available and then
f-spot shuts down. Same problem on 0.3.0.
The export works fine if I switch session to gnome and run f-spot and
then export.
I added D-Bus support to gnome-keyring-sharp in F-Spot SVN (and also
Mono SVN). This should fix your issue.
Even if not already running, the keyring daemon will now be activated
and connected to reliably. However, if you don't have a fairly recent
gnome-keyring-daemon (such as the version in Ubuntu Feisty), all bets
are off.
