I noticed that when I created a category, in f-Spot 0.3.5, called
"Carthage" and then did a drag and drop of about 100+ photos into that
user-created category that the icon F-Spot created for this category
was rotated incorrectly. I found the offending photo and did the
correct rotation to it.
I expected, I guess, to see that the F-Spot created category icon
would rotate as well. It did not.
I then closed the program and re-opened it expecting the program to
refresh these icons. It did not.
I am not sure if this is really a bug or if its just how the program
works. But to me it seems that the icons should reflect the current
photo stored in the album.
Personally I find the thumb-nailed icons created by F-Spot to be
rather ugly and useless for my needs. I would love to see a way to
turn these off as well.
I do realize that asking the F-Spot program to refresh at a periodic
rate or even at the re-opening of the program might be to much of a
resource drain but I thought I would mention it anyway.
