Thanks. I found the option after I wrote the message and added a bug
report. I have updated the bug report because I still think the find
window should be selectable from the view menu.

I was playing around with f-spot today and have two suggestions.
The first is to add an option under the view menu item to show the 'find'
section of the screen. Currently the only way to bring up this 'window'
it to double click on a tag in the side tag window.
Ctrl-F
Why would I want the find window up without any tags selected? That is
my second suggestion.
I just noticed that the tags shown under each image just are considered
part of the image for dragging and dropping purposed.
I wish the tag images were active as tags so if you double clicked on
one of them it would act the same as double clicking a tag in the side
window and get added to the find window. Or if you dragged one to the
find window it would be have the same effect.
Why are tags important to me? I have over 20,000 picture and 400 tags.
That is also why I have submitted bug request to unify the code used to
select tags when you right click an image and select attach tag.
Cheers!
