Sorry if I understand you wrong, but you want to move the images from
the filesystem into an database?

If thats so, let me say as a user I disagree with you. It might be a
smart idea, because you can program things better or easier, but I
liked very much about f-spot, that my pictures are in a condition,
from which I always use another program if f-spot doesn't fit my needs
anymore.

Just an opinion and thanks for your nice work on this nice tool.
