Hey,
For a few times now i've had to re-import my photos to f-spot and while
it's a pain to re-tag all the files, it's more inconvinient that the
different versions get imported as separate files.
I've been trying to figure out a reliable way how to import the versions
without grouping the wrong files together. One way would be to rely on
the naming convention of f-spot where file.jpg becomes file
(version).jpg. This might sound sane at first, but windows tends to add
(1) to the end of files that are named the same for example i could have
1(1).jpg and 1.jpg which belong to a different set.
Any thoughts?
