        Hi,
yes, that checks the content of the folder for any changes on all
messages regardless of the network type.

Finally, you can remove ~/.cache/evolution/mail/<imapx-account-
UID>/
directory, when Evolution is off, to let it start from scratch the
next run.

Tried that.  No joy.

In that case it looks like the server doesn't advertise those messages.
Otherwise I cannot image what the reason could be.

You can see the raw communication between the Evolution and the server
(disable any other IMAP accounts first, to avoid interleaving output),
when you start evolution from a terminal like:

   $ CAMEL_DEBUG=imapx:io evolution

once the output on the terminal settles, go to one of the affected
folders and right-click it in the folder tree and pick Refresh. The
newly added output on the terminal may show how many messages the
server advertises the folder has and some other things.

As it's a raw communication, do not share it in public. It contains a
lot of private information, including the downloaded messages, your
folders and so on; it can contain even your password in some encoded
way, which may not be readable for you, but it can be readable for the
machines.

By the way, Reply to List (Ctrl+L) works better than Reply to All for
me on this mailing list.

        Bye,
        Milan
