after recent update my Google contacts in Evolution don't show Google
labels any more. That's a huge problem because I need them for group
mails.
Hi,
the 3.40.x still uses libgdata to connect to the Google contacts, thus
the only issue can be with the server (or libgdata itself), because
nothing really changed on the Evolution side. I mean recently.
As the Google server is moving away from the Contacts API, this list
contains several threads about it already, the 3.42.x and later
versions connect to the Google contacts using CardDAV. It's not that
feature rich as the Contacts API, also because it's up to the Google
server what it provides through this standard protocol.
Bye,
Milan
