That's a glib and innumerate response; you should show more respect for decent conversation than to say that. namecheap.com is selling .co.uk subdomains for $6.88 to register and $9.58/yr for renewal. Last time I looked .info subdomains were quite inexpensive as well. Depending on one's privacy concerns, there are gratis email hosters that will let one host their own domain with them in exchange for spying on everything they send/receive (I don't recommend them but they exist). Such prices are not reasonably responded to with "a good solution for rich people" and don't require you to sign up for being constantly geolocated via a tracker/mobile. Other options include gandi.net which offers email hosting and domain registration at low prices.
