[Evolution] Update, commit, patch, workaround for new timezone?

A few days ago the new timezone package (2020d) hit Mageia Cauldron and
date-dependent items (all appointments and tasks) in Evo 3.38.1 stopped
being displayed.

Apparently the new package dropped a file known as "pacificnew" which
may be the cause of the problem according to word received indirectly
from Fedora.

I took a quick look at Gnome bugzilla but saw nothing. Is this a known
issue that has been or is being addressed, or should I file a bug
report?
