a) that section doesn't mention WEBDAV_DEBUG
b) that section doesn't mention evolution itself

Just in case:

   $ CALDAV_DEBUG=1 /usr/libexec/evolution-calendar-factory -w &>log.txt

then run evolution and reproduce the issue.
