correct, you should place them into the 'new' directory instead.
I take Evolution offline and close it. Then I run a bash script which
creates email files in ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/.Outbox/new/
with headers etc, named something like "1583492637.31908_10.ac:2,S".
But starting Evolution again, the local Outbox is empty. I guess Sqlite
would have to be aware and index these emails first, so my approach
cannot work? Meh. Looks like I really have to learn sendmail. :)
