Hi,

the editor is fishy, but there are not that many issues when using plain
text. Perhaps the developers could consider to drop HTML, in favour of
maintaining a better plain text editor.

You (the OP) could consider to migrate from HTML to plain text. Even if
there should be no issues related to the editor, HTML has got less pros,
but countless cons compared to plain text.
