Thanks. I know I can sound picky on that, but it has its reasons. It's
always better to have a report, thus some history can be recorded
behind the changes, instead of making them out of blue. And when
anything breaks, then there's a place where to write follow up, thus
anyone searching in the history is aware of the change and things which
relate to it.

Bad idea, my memory is really poor. That's another reason why to write
things down in the bugzilla (or the issue tracker these days). And the
most importantly, this is open source, anyone can find the things you
want interesting and provide a patch for it, instead of you relying on
a single person whose priorities do not match other people priorities.
Stay on the safe side. Count with the bus factor.
