that's true. The Fedora is unreleased, the GNOME version packaged

is at its final stable release. I won't recommend to update till the
final release of it, of course. :)

I can file a bug if it would help.
Sure, feel free to file it, if not filled already (I didn't search
for
it). It'll be good to not be forgotten. An investigation for
possibilities would be made later.

Before filing the bug I attempted to reproduce the problem using gpg
from the command line, and the error message is similar to the one you
got.

Then I tried doing it with Evo to a non-existent address, and again I
got the correct error message. Same with a real address without a
public key in the keyring.

This is absurd. In my previous testing I had logged out and in again
several times so it doesn't look like anything to do with my desktop
session.

Now I'm starting to wonder if I've strayed into a parallel universe ...
