Thanks for clarifications.
grep -C 3 Content-Type (obfuscated some personal data with
xxxxxxxxx):

      Hi,
the message structure is approximately:

   multipart/alternative
      text/plain
      multipart/mixed
         text/html
         application/pdf
         text/html

The attachment removal in the evolution searches only on the first
level, it doesn't check content of the multipart/mixed, thus it
doesn't
notice the application/pdf part.

You asked what else you can do earlier, which I didn't answer. You
can
remove the attachment manually by:
a) Edit as New Message
b) remove anything you like
c) save as draft
d) move from draft folder to the correct folder
e) delete old message

It's not convenient, neither the same as what the Remove Attachments
does.

It would be good to have this filled in the GNOME bugzilla, thus
it's
not forgotten.

Thank you very much Milan,
I have just filled it at:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=766713

bye,
Andrea

      Thanks and bye,
      Milan
