I agree. Maybe I'm wrong but I suspect that RedHat's main
justification for supporting Evo development is to be able to talk to
Exchange servers from Linux. Porting it to Windows would give very
little return and be a distraction of scarce resources.

luckily Red Hat has nothing to do with it. Nothing at all. It's just my
"free time fun with Evolution" (and WebKitGtk+, but do not ask,
please).

I think it would be nice to restore the idea of the Win32 port of the
Evolution, even with not so huge support as the Linux version. The
thing is that the core libraries do support Win32 environment (glib and
gtk+ surely do, while these two are the main dependencies), thus it
seemed like an interesting idea to "support" Win32 also for an
application. Of course, the Evolution is quite large application for
such purpose, but...

I do not want to defend here my free time usage, there might not be any
reason for it, from my point of view.
