Yes ok the right word is authentication.

Then I always get the error message:
Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).
You don't give your version of Evolution...
The error is a bug in evolution-data-server prior to 3.12 and was
discussed in relation to the POODLE SSL issue last October (it helps to
search archives sometimes). See, for instance,

The solution for versions prior to 3.12 is to use STARTTLS instead of
SSL. If you can't use STARTTLS, then you will need to upgrade to a
version of Evolution that doesn't have the bug.
