[Evolution] Problems with CardDAV address book in offline mode

Hello,

I am running Evolution 3.10.4 (German version) under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
and I am having the following problem:

I have imported a CardDAV address book and configured it to download the
content for access in offline mode. But that does not work.

If the CardDAV server is online (a Radicale server on a computer in the
local wlan) everything is fine. But if the server is not accessible I
cannot see any contacts. Instead an error message pops up "... Cannot
connect to destination (...)".

It does not matter if I am running Evolution in offline or online mode.

Does anybody now what's wrong?
