This didn't fix my calendar certificate issue,
Hi,
makes sense, the thread was about mail (IMAP), not about calendar.
Sure, but there was no indication that that file ONLY contained mail
certificates. If it only contains mail certificates, then why isn't
it in .local/share/evolution/mail? Being in the top level surely
implies it is used as the certificate store for all the Evolution
components.
Hi,
it depends. It's called camel, and camel is a library which evolution
uses for the mail part. As the camel library can be used outside of
evolution, its certificates are outside of evolution directory tree as
well.
So, where is the certificate store for the calendars?
They are stored (its fingerprint and host name) in the calendar
.source file. That allows the "Unset SSL certificate trust" button for
CalDAV/CardDAV in calendar properties working as expected - it's just
like any other setting of the calendar. In other words, it works
differently from the camel and mail.
Bye,
Milan
