This is just one example of frequent indefinite timeouts. The only
solution is to send a kill signal (twice) and restart.
Is that for a specific account type?
I experience the same problem and outcome a lot with GMail IMAP too.
this particular account is GMail IMAP but I've seen indefinite
"pinging", "connecting", "updating" etc. status bar messages for Zimbra
IMAP mailboxes.
