I was using a relatively old version, probably 2.x, until yesterday. My 
initial thought was that something had become corrupt; so I wiped Debian 
Squeeze from the hard drive and installed the current Debian Wheezy i386 
distribution, which includes Evo 3.4.4. Now I'm having the same problem 
on 2 machines with Evo 3.4.4, and 1 machine with Evo 2.30.3. All 5 
configurations (current and past) seem to have the same problem.

I've been using a POP accounts on all 3 machines. As an experiment, I 
just tried switching to IMAP. Evo successfully received the first 5 
messages, then failed on the 6th, and after a very long pause Evo gave a 
"Failed on message xxxxxxxx: Unknown reason" error message.

Under the Security setting, I've tried Unencrypted, TLS, and SSL. The 
same problem occurs under any of the 3 settings.
