sparticus is right, and I already have a note scribbled to fix that.
I suspect the problem lies with the gnome keyring system. I've had
similar problems sending mail [see the earlier thread with subject
"Evolution vs. KDE (It's a stand off)"], which I solved by explicitly
opening the login keyring using seahorse. There's supposed to be a way
to get pam to open the login keyring at login time, but I haven't been
able to get it to work reliably.
