Note that Evolution uses Maildir+ whereas I think KMail uses plain
Maildir, so the formats aren't quite compatible.

Yay for non-standardized mail storage formats!

If you're going to keep mass quantities of email on your local machine,
offlineimap is really the best solution to avoid these migration issues.
