Dear Dan, if you write to the list, please switch from digest receiving mode to ânormalâ mode, so that threading works. (It is not easy to add a message ID in Evolution as far as I experienced.) I am CCing you for the mean time, so threading does not get messed up. Additionally please send just plain text (and no HTML) messages to lists. That would be awesome. I don't have an "echo" problem, but cut and past have problems.
Select some text --> cut ... the text does not vanish and re-flow.
Position cursor --> past ... the cursor moves but the added text does
not appear.
also the existing text does not reflow
I must do something to force the compose window to redraw before all
appears as it should.
I have also experienced that problem. But I think that this is a Cairo(?) or even graphics driver problem. Though I experienced it with AMD/ATI Radeon and VIA hardware.
I don't have these troubles with other apps like browsers, editors, or libreoffice.
Neither here.
