Re: [Evolution] evoulution functionality

Please always include the *version of Evolution* you are talking about
[and *not* by saying what distribution you are using, but the version of
Evolution reported by your package manager or help->about].

You should be able to forward-as-attachment. Otherwise HTML messages
don't forward well; especially if you have the disposition set

I have an older machine with Ubuntu/Evolution on it. I un-installed
Evolution from that machine; now it won't let me reinstall it. That
feels like something from the American state of Washington, Seattle
area!!

I have no idea about this. "it won't let me reinstall it" isn't an
error message. My first advice if you want a stable and current desktop
is to avoid Ubuntu.

I worked with Unix for years, in industrial distributed control systems,
and know it is very stable, but to be usable by more than "geek" types,
it has to at least as good as the above mentioned other supplier of
software. I am not seeing that!!

I find Evolution to be stable and productive.
