No, definitely not.  It is stable (other than bugs!) but is in constant
development - the development releases are odd numbered (i.e. 3.1, 3.3
etc.) with the stable/production releases being even numbered (2.32,
3.0, 3.2 etc).  And your version is actually 3.0.2, not 3.02 - the
distinction is important when 3.2 is released.

The bottom line is that many people are successfully using Evolution
without any of the problems you are seeing.  The only proviso is that
there does seem to have been some issues with the POP code in 3.0 -
hence the recommendation from someone to go back to 2.32.2.
