So there is no way to neaten up the sidebar?  Right now, it's quite messy, with my Sent Items mixed between "On This COmputer" and "Gmail", etc.

On this computer == local mail.
Not on this computer == remote mail.

Use POP instead of IMAP, though I wouldn't recommend that.
