[Evolution] pop mail not being retrieved

Good afternoon,
I'm using Evolution 2.32.2 under FC14 to retrieve POP based mail from various providers. This has been working fine. Today I thought the mail was light (especially the spam!) so checked the mail service provider via the web (yahoo.co.uk) and saw quite a few mails marked as unread that weren't being downloaded.
I'm not getting any error as far as I can see (the send /retrieve window seems to show a successful connection and collection), but the mails do not appear in the inbox.
Any ideas?
