What's the function of a mentor in this context?
I am new to Google summer of code. Now after some talk on IRC chat, I have
found out that it is not necessary to have a mentor assigned to an idea before
the application writting will start. However, it is good to know if also the
developers thing that my idea is worthy. So I would like to appeal to the
evolution developers if they would be so kind and take a look at my idea. And
to your question, a mentor , from my point of view, is a person usually a
developer, who can help and guide student with / through his project.
OK, thanks, so you're looking for someone who knows their way about in
the Gnome/Evolution development process among other things.
