[Evolution] a couple of questions: how to set up newsgroups and a question concerning replying to a message

I have a couple of questions.

1.  I want Evolution to get my newsgroups for me.  I have set up the
account for the newsgroups but where do I look for the newsgroups.  I
didn't see anything in the help about that.  I am looking for the
subscriptions.  The news groups to subscribe too.

2.  When replying to a message and using Control+R I notice a large
delay before the reply comes up I would say between 5 to 10 seconds and
I notice this also when creating a new message.

I am on Ubuntu and the newest version of Evolution is what I am using
2.24.2.  Thanks for the help.
