Zimbra is way OTT for me, I don't want a groupware solution.  I did
actually run eGroupware for a while but it's simply *way* too big for
my requirements.  We just want to share tasks.

Darwin Calendar Server, for instance, is a standalone CalDAV server which
is easily setup and configured. DaviCal is another one. I don't have any
experience with the latter myself, but I hear good things about it.
