Usually, you find what version you're using in the Help menu.  Look for something like "About Evolution..."  or  "About...",  "About this program",  in the help menu.

Sorry for the large image.   I am a newbie at some of the image manipulation.   So version wise I am not at 2.24 since if I was I would not need to have this migration performed. Where is the best place to look for the version number since I get no other dialog boxes except this one?
