Yup. A Send/Receive would sync up all the counts for sure. And as
stated, the counts below the toolbar is always precise. The folder tree
counts would show some variations during the initial caching phase. In
the event of http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=546972 being
fixed, it did introduce a deadlock at the last minute as reported in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=552013 

Please do update bug #552013 with your observations. I would fix it
completely sometime soon. TIA
