Thanks for the pointer. Do you know/remember if this was different in
earlier versions. I am not considering downgrading, but am curious if
I fantasized this or it really was narrower before.

The culprit is the top line of the side bar which now (in workweek

The icon and three dots don't seem to do anything and the date could
be shortened. 19 Nov - 23 Nov would be fine for me.
Is there any way I can either
1. Customize this line
2. Omit the line
3. Have the sidebar narrower and have part of the line not visible
