[Evolution] Killing old version of evolution-data-server

All of a sudden (today), I'm getting the following error any time I try to start up evolution. I am using an exchange server, and all has worked well (with the exception of message filtering, discussed elsewhere) until this morning...

I'm running Ubuntu, up to date with Gutsy....

evolution-shell-Message: Killing old version of evolution-data-server...
** (evolution:22481): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution:22481): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution

(evolution:22481): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Failed to refresh folders: Lost connection to Evolution Exchange backend process

(evolution:22481): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Error occurred while existing dialogue active:
Lost connection to Evolution Exchange backend process

After this occurs, I do see the following evolution processes still running:

22481 pts/0    Sl     0:03 evolution --debug /tmp/evolution.out
22507 ?        Sl     0:00 /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-1.12 --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_DataServer_InterfaceCheck --oaf-ior-fd=26
22526 ?        Sl     0:09 /usr/lib/evolution/2.12/evolution-exchange-storage --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Exchange_Component_Factory:2.12 --oaf-ior-fd=30
22545 ?        Sl     0:00 /usr/lib/evolution/2.12/evolution-alarm-notify --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_AlarmNotify_Factory:2.12 --oaf-ior-fd=31

At this point, evolution is not functioning at all for me.
