Yes, I have the same problem with Ubuntu 6.10, Seahorse 0.9.5 and
Evolution 2.8.1
I seek a solution, if somebody can help

I have a key pair that i use on my desktop to encrypt files,
Evolution just won't let me send secure mail, cant figure it out.
