I need some help from the community on this one. Yesterday,
Evolution was working fine, but today--without ANY upgrades,
installations, or screw-ups--it doesn't. What it DOES do is give me
this:
moore ubuntu:~$ evolution
(evolution-2.10:7029): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: instance of invalid non-instantiatable type `(null)'
(evolution-2.10:7029): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_connect_data: assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE
(instance)' failed
(evolution-2.10:7029): e-data-server-CRITICAL **: e_source_group_peek_base_uri: assertion `E_IS_SOURCE_GROUP
(group)' failed
Segmentation fault
During my investigation into the problem, I accidentally started
Evolution as root and it launched, only giving me this:
moore ubuntu:~$ sudo evolution
CalDAV Eplugin starting up ...
(evolution-2.10:7377): evolution-mail-WARNING **: ignored this junk plugin: not enabled or we have already
loaded one
(evolution-2.10:7377): e-utils-WARNING **: Plugin 'Spamassassin junk plugin' failed to load hook
'org.gnome.evolution.mail.junk:1.0'
** (evolution-2.10:7377): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution-2.10:7377): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution
libnm_glib_nm_state_cb: dbus returned an error.
(org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown) The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManager was not provided by any
.service files
So, I'm at a loss. I'm running Evolution on a FRESH Ubuntu 7.04
server install with Openbox. If anyone could point me in the
direction of a solution, I'd be eternally indebted to you.
