[Evolution] Evolution calendar problem

Hello everyone!
I'm quite new to Evolution 2.6 and I've used it only for mail so far.
I would use the integrated calendar but every time I try to add a new
date making a double click on an hour in a day, I receive a message that
say me that the selected calendar is in read only mode and is impossible
to create a new event.
How can I do to set my dates on the calendar?
