Is there any planned support or secret handshake to get Evolution to
handle calender attachments for meetings generated by Outlook 2003?

I am using Fedora Core 5. I have also used Fedora Core 4 and SuSE 10.0.

The attachment shows up as a Microsoft T-Nef file.

Is there a missing library dependancy and/or build option that I am
missing? If needs be, I can rebuild it. I just want to know what I am
missing, if anything.

There is no built-in support in Evolution for the TNEF encapsulation
format used by Microsoft Outlook.

TNEF is wildly unstandard, for example Outlook Express (*cough*) does
not support TNEF. Please ask your correspondent to send it again, or
tell them how to fix their setups:

Also, once upon a time Notzed has started work on a experimental plugin.
The plugin is for Evolution>=2.3.1, and afaik it seems to compile with
Evolution 2.4.2.1, don't know about 2.6.x though. It is available here:

cheers,
andre
