All this 'Junk' stuff on the client side is entirely suboptimal, because
any well-run server will be doing it server-side. Filtering doesn't
belong in the MUA --  it ought at least to to be optional, and probably
not enabled by default.

I'm not sure precisely what you're asking here. If the server has
filtered it into a separate folder, then it sounds like it's already
being displayed in a folder in Evolution called 'Junk Mail'... what more
do you want?

You can't, and very occasionally you might end up using the 'Drafts' or
'Outbox' folders anyway. Just close it up by clicking on the icon to the
left hand side of it -- then it should offend you less.

It would actually be good if I could disable the 'vFolders' part of the
tree -- but if I keep it closed, then it doesn't offend me either. It
does occasionally confuse my father though.
