I was trying to import a vCard from Mozilla changing the Helper
Applications of Mozilla. To do that I try the following without
success:
evolution file:///export/home/vir/Documents/Test.vcf
(evolution-1.4:20226): evolution-shell-WARNING **: CORBA exception
IDL:GNOME/Evolution/Shell/UnsupportedSchema:1.0 when requesting
URI -- file:///export/home/vir/Documents/Test.vcf
How to do that without saying to the user to use the file import menu ?
Sorry, I don't know if this is possible. Don't think it is, though.
This might be easier with recent Evo versions, using a script (there are
Python bindings) that talks to e-d-s. This architecture changed a lot
since 1.4.x...
What's wrong with using the File->Import Wizard?
If I understand the question correctly, it's about using Evo as a helper
application for Mozilla handling vCards. Those apps need to be called by
command line, as Mozilla triggers this.
