[Evolution] Difficulties using USENET

Hi,
I've got some difficulties to subscribe to some folder. When opening the
"alt" directory for example, Evolution freeze.
It may be due to the huge amount of directories listed.
Is there other solution to subscribe directories than "Tools >
Subscribe" ???
I'm using Ubuntu with Evolution 2.2.1.1
