No there isn't.
It is up to the sender of the mail to properly specify how the mail
should be presented, and we honour most of the known ways for doing
that.
e.g. it is no use wrapping a text table, it would become unreadable.

No I meant in the view pane beneath the message window. I like to keep
evo at half size rather than full. When I do that the message contents
aren't wrapped. I don't know if that is normal or not, but I was asking
if there was a way to force wrapping for message viewing in the viewing
pane.

Do you mean when composing new mail and quoting someone else's long
lones? I click on the quoted text and select "normal" under the style
menu (2nd button right above the mail text.
