I use IMAP on my office installation of Evo 2.3.3 and IMAP4rev1 on my
home installation of Evo 2.2, both against the same (busy) account (but
not simultaneously). The IMAP4rev1 version freezes and has to be
forceably shut down several times a day. The other one not so much, or
not at all -- I don't remember. The IMAP server is Cyrus on RedHat 9.
I don't recall seeing warnings about the IMAP4rev1 implementation. I'll
be switching to IMAP as soon as I get home tonight ...
I wonder if we should remove it from the default build (except removing
something that is there is always fraught with danger), or at least add
a comment about it. Having started on another imap backend I dont
really want to maintain 3 ...
