I am a new member of this mailing list and have some queries.
Why is Evolution slower than Outlook Express when delivering the same
volume of mail?

because evolution's got a different codebase then outlook express and
that is because we do not have access to their code because outlook
express is closed source. otherwise we would surely just copy their code
no matter which quality their code got. i mean - hey, if it's
faster... ;-)

Why does my Pine send mail but not deliver it?

this has been answered before and i'll answer this again: don't ask me
pine questions. i also cannot help you with your micros~ outlook
problems or why your car broke down and does not start. what do you
expect from an **evolution** mailing list? answers for **pine**
problems? dude...

Some experienced people have told me that they prefer devices like Pine for
mail handling rather than say Pine or Outlook Express. Why do you think
that is?

because some people prefer red to yellow and others prefer going fishing
to watching tv or using their car instead of their bike, because a car
is just cooler if it rains outside.
i prefer evolution to pine because there are also some differences
between evolution and pine - but *they have been answered already on
this list when you asked the same question just one day ago*.

cheers,
andre
