Re: [Evolution] Evo 2.3.6.1: Where is calendar???

Options:
install gnutls .11
try to softlink gnutls .11 to .12, maybe it will work
downgrade evolution

hmm, i'm not sure what drags that in (it isn't used internally i'm
pretty sure), libsoup maybe, maybe that needs an upgrade.

Hi,

as I toeday - first time after the update to 2.3.6.1 - tried to check my
calender, I just could not access the calendar. Only mail and contacts
can be accessed. After carefully examing the output in console, I found
an error message:
(evolution:449): evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot activate
'OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_Component:2.4': g_module_open of
`/opt/gnome/lib/evolution/2.4/components/libevolution-calendar.so'
failed with `libgnutls.so.11: shared object file cannot be opened: file
or directory does not exist'
(partly my own translation from the Finnish message).

The ~./evolution/calender folder seems to be ok, I can open the calender
file in a different viewer.

My system has libgnutls.so.12 (also not so.11) installed and an attept
to install libgnutls.so.11 results in package conficts.

I use SuSE 9.3 Pro wirh KDE 3.4.2 (WITHOUT gtk-qt-engine), evolution is
installed from a official SuSE mirror.

I hope someone could help me - I really do need the calender!

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards
Kimmo
